"The Final Countdown" on February 2nd

This is a show I did on February 2nd called "The Final Countdown". It was a lot of fun. I took all of those good words from comedians and friends and had a fuckin good set! Lots of laughs, maybe even a Youtube post. I did a good 10-15 minutes up there. I just felt comfortable and it kept flowing. Shit I was laughing. I got some applause for my Obama impression too. Impression, laugh, impression, laugh, impression, applause. That was a good feeling. This shit is actually really fun when it feels good up there.

The Accountants of Homeland Security put the show together. They're a bunch of really cool people and I loved doing their show. I would for sure do it again.

Amanda and Chicago

This is Amanda Rountree and her performance of "Amanda & Chicago." She is an amazing comedian who I did a show with on February 2nd. Great improv and sketch. This is one of her first solo sketches. Her roots are improv. I thought she was dope. I'd definitely work with her again. She started in Seattle and moved here recently. I'm glad she's here.

Good Words

I was talking to my boy Glenn about my "so so" show from Monday that I still got paid for. He reminded me that people used to always just laugh when I would talk just being myself. One class we had together, the teacher asked me to get in front of the class and describe making a sandwich. I was a little "out of it", and I started talking about putting meat on bread, and everybody in class started laughing.
I also talked to my homegirl Tiffany of the Puterbaugh Sisters and the Flaming Cobras, and she said I was funny, it was just hard to connect to that particular crowd. Its important to know your crowd.
Then I talked to a comedian named Hannibal, who was on The Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and he told me to just be comfortable onstage. That is the most important. That and be original. He also gave alot of other good words, but be comfortable and original stuck out for me.

January 28 Show

On January 28, I had a show opening up for a transvestite comedian named Flame Monroe. He/She was hilarious, and actually has two kids. I was the very first opener, and I didn't have that great a set, but I got paid nigga!!! And my brother finally got a chance to see me onstage, so that was dope. He came in from New York to see it, which was cool. I just wish I would have had one of my best sets. Still, he caught my basic style and he knows my humor, so he wasn't too disappointed. Plus its always cool when we can kick it. I met some cool other performers that night too.
