On January 28, I had a show opening up for a transvestite comedian named Flame Monroe. He/She was hilarious, and actually has two kids. I was the very first opener, and I didn't have that great a set, but I got paid nigga!!! And my brother finally got a chance to see me onstage, so that was dope. He came in from New York to see it, which was cool. I just wish I would have had one of my best sets. Still, he caught my basic style and he knows my humor, so he wasn't too disappointed. Plus its always cool when we can kick it. I met some cool other performers that night too.
