Cee-Lo - Fool For You (feat. Philip Bailey)

I love this Cee-Lo album, and this might have moved its way to my favorite track. It sounds so "old school" dope that I cant stop playing it. And it has a soul legend on the track in Philip Bailey. That, plus the fact that Cee-Lo's voice is phenomenal on it, make this track...an official WIN!!!

Check out his live performance below. Cee-Lo...representing for all the weird fat Black dudes in the world (ahem).

Lloyd Banks feat. Jeremih - I Don't Deserve You

Based on some of my previous posts, you might not expect a Lloyd Banks song on my playlist, but I listen to just about everything and pick and choose what I like. This song has a raw ass beat and I like the flow. Can't stop singing it. Might even sing it on stage tonight!

Shout out to Jeremih, too, out of Chicago. I partied with that dude in college a couple times when I visited U of I. He was with my girl's best friend at the time. Funny dude. Good track.

Kids These Days - Darling

Been singing this a couple days now. Real dope band and song, Kids These Days, out of Chicago. Pick up their EP "Hard Times" on iTunes as soon as you can. It comes out in early February.

Shout out to Vic and Nico in the band also...fellow Lincoln Elementary and soon to be Whitney Young High School alum....

Chilly Gonzales - Never Stop

I only put this up because its that song in those fuckin iPad commercials. If you get past the part that youve heard over a million times, its not that bad a song. I wouldn't mind hearing some more from Chilly. Clearly his sound is catchy. You knew this song within 5 seconds of pressing play!

BoogieMonsterz - Honeydips In Gotham

...by the Boogiemonsters!! I would later find out they were Christian rappers. Who knew? This was one of the dopest songs I had heard at the time, though. I was only like 11, and I didnt know anything about harder basslines. It still sounds good to me today, regardless.

Questionmark Asylum - Hey, Look Away

On my '95 shit. I used to play this in the morning before school. This and the next one...

Deltron 3030 - 3030

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien has always been one of my favorite rappers, and not only because he is Ice Cube's cousin and a member of the Hieroglyphics crew. He's consistenly a great emcee. I played this song every day in college summer school on the way to work at the Atlanta Ruby Tuesday's by Lennox mall. It was the only way I could get to work happy.

This needs to be on a soundtrack. Somebody make it happen. Also, what happened to Dan The Automator?
